This organic black quinoa comes from the Peruvian Andes. It has a nutty taste after cooking. It has the strongest flavour of all quinoa colors. The black color quinoa goes really well with bakery items. 

It is grown at 2500m to 4000m above sea level. Year 2013 was the international year of the quinoa, declared by the United Nations due to its high nutrition and sustainability. It has being chosen by Nasa as a plant that can be grown in outer space which contains all the essential amino-acids our body needs.
